How termites work

How Termidor works

Termidor now comes in two formulas; Termidor Dust and Termidor Residual Termiticide. Both of these products become the perfect combination for both the inside and outside of your home. This enables a complete termite nest elimination and full protection from future attacks.

Termidor Dust

Termidor dust has had over 10 years research done on it within Australia, to make sure when it is used termites will be eliminated. Termidor dust is applied by professionals directly onto the affected areas whether they are inside or outside locations around the house.

The way Termidor dust works is that the termites carry away the dust particles on their bodies and over time back to the nest via a transfer effect. The time it takes for the dust to work is between 2- 4 weeks, for a total termite elimination which is in no time at all. The dust does not protect future attacks and should be used in conjunction with the Termidor Residual Termiticide, immediately following successful eradication to ensure protection into the future.

Termidor Residual

Termidor residual is used for outside and under the house and is applied as a continual chemical soil zone. This is used to repel termites away from the structural area. The termite residual is usually applied after the dust has been used, within the house and this process also complies with The Australian Standards.
